Because expectations are constantly evolving and priorities changing, the Naboo platform has just published a white paper on corporate seminar trends in 2024. Key findings: customers are focusing on nature, CSR commitments and ease of payment. We take a closer look.

Founded in 2022, Naboo is a start-up specializing in turnkey corporate seminar bookings, through a network of 10,000 partners. It has just published a white paper on trends in 2024, which shows that companies are clearly attracted to nature destinations.

According to the study, the number of green holidays has risen by 30% per year since COVID. Île-de-France, home to the majority of major corporate headquarters, accounts for a quarter of all bookings, followed by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, which attracts 20% of seminars in spring and autumn. New Aquitaine sees its peak in bookings in September, the best month for surfing and water sports.

While hotels still account for almost 50% of all bookings, ecolodges and self-catering estates are gaining in popularity thanks to their flexibility and lower costs. Cost control is a major challenge for companies that have suffered from inflation. Invoicing is almost equally divided between standard seminars, from €251 to €350 per person (31%), top-of-the-range stays, from €351 to €450 (27%) and over €451 for premium stays (28%). 15% of seminars cost less than 250 euros per person. As with their personal vacations, customers appreciate being able to book instantly, without having to go through the quotation process.

What’s new is that dynamic on-demand pricing (yield) is only convincing in 38% of cases, even though it represents more than 50% of the offer. According to Maxime Eduardo, CEO and co-founder of Naboo, “digital transformation, driven by advances in AI, is accelerating price immediacy and fare transparency, but also the ultra-personalization of the offer, to better meet customer expectations.”

Last but not least, the CSR dimension of the event is one of the selection criteria. More and more customers are asking for the event’s carbon footprint or zero-waste catering. For practical as well as environmental reasons, nearly half of all seminars take place less than an hour from the company’s offices.
